TF Contracting responded to an emergency 24” sewer force main failure for the City of Phoenix. This project presented many challenges from navigating existing joint trench fiber lines, depths nearing 30 feet below grade, and performing repairs within feet of the redundant 24” sewer force main currently pushing all flows from Lift Station 66. While uncovering the failed ductile iron pipe and installing a new section of pipe, TFC also discovered additional failures to this pipe segment. This emergency repair greatly increased in scope and severity. TF is installedl a jumper bypass system in order to continue the excavation towards the CAP canal to uncover and remedy the underlying issues with the existing pipeline.
